Open studios

The Dandenong Ranges Open Studios exhibition is a cultural event that provides a unique opportunity to visit the studios of artists in the local area. We were approached to give the exhibition a fresh new identity, enticing the Melbourne art scene to the hills. The resulting campaign represented the craft of the local artists and the feel of Dandenong Ranges, while still presenting a contemporary design.
Using custom made typography, coupled with hand made lino-prints, we created the exhibition booklet, bookmark, posters, signage, canvas tote bags and website to promote the community event. More images on all of this stuff on the website when we can find some free time.
The simple signage system we created with help from the guys at Branch Flower CNC routing
The task was painting all 24 of them.

Dandenong ranges open studio

We are in the process of completing the re-brand for the Dandenong Ranges Open Studios event at the end of this month. So far we’ve received the 36 page event booklet from the printer with further collateral to follow. All iconography was painstakingly lino cut, printed and scanned. The rollout consists of posters, bookmarks, canvas bags and more to come.
Everything is coming along nicely and we will have it all on our site real soon.

Paul’s Boutique; a classic Beastie Boys album, which has been getting a thrashing at the studio lately.
We are big fans of the new album hot sauce committee and the site, which integrates sound cloud and streaming the entire album. That is gold!
But we love their old stuff much more than their new stuff.
